Today was a good day, though I have no idea of the leisurely Sunday anymore. London woke up at 5:45 this morning, and, as is our custom, we tried to convince him that he was still tired until about 6:20. Sunday is Sarah’s day to get up early with London but it is becoming harder and harder for me to stay in bed.
I hear London downstairs talking. (ado badu badu). I don’t get to see him much – as much as I would like, anyway – during the week as he is in daycare until 5:30 and goes to bed by eight.
Right now he is walking around wearing my watch on his neck like a giant necklace. It is pretty cute. I have no idea where he learned that.

We took a trip to Office Max to get some printer ink – I am sure that all of these things will be obsolete before five years pass but I mention it anyway. London had a great time putting plastic paper trays on the floor and walking in them like they were skis. That was great fun. He also enjoyed pointing out the various balloons within the store. As always, he worked the crowd. Everyone fawned all over him.
It is currently 5:24 p.m. It is at this time that I begin to feel sad that the weekend is almost over. I sure hope that I get it together to be a stay-at-home dad soon.
